There are 7 basic movement patterns that we need for a healthy body. While we hit most of these in a regular yoga class, there is one element that is completely missing, and that is the element of  pulling. The Yoga Trapeze allows us to add pulling motion into our repertoire to help create balanced bodies. Yoga Trapeze is a fantastic tool to help us build our strength, increase our flexibility, and work  on our balance. Specifically, you will see an increase in grip strength, upper body strength and core strength, all while having fun. Yoga Trapeze also offers spinal traction. Explained simply, spinal traction  helps to create space between our vertebrae, which can help relieve tension and pain in the back. With the trapeze we can invert safely, to find the benefits of spinal traction. Traction alone will not cure back pain, but traction in conjunction with the strengthening and flexibility poses on the Trapeze will help you along your journey. Please bring your yoga mat to class.
